Bio
Trey Overholt is a singer/songwriter that hails from the hills of east-central Ohio. He is the son of blue-collar parents, nephew of a Preacher (or two), and youngest of a list of musically talented cousins. Trey is soulful and sincere; the words he writes and sings are constantly believable. Seeing Trey live, listeners often will generally echo similarly that Trey has a lot of soul. Trey sounds most like Ryan Adams.
Trey began writing music in high school, writing and recording ten songs before graduating from New Philadelphia H.S; the album was locally titled as “New Philly.” Trey’s most recent recording 4 songs with prominent song writer and artist Scot Sax (Scotsax.com). Trey has upcoming shows at Connie's Ric Rac in Phila and at the Millenium Music Conference and has most recently played at the Fire, the Milkboy, the Underground and the Orange Room in either Harrisburg or Philadelphia.
