BandRockPop

Triathalon is a four-piece garage-surf band that blends beachy vibes with soulful Motown-esque lyricism.

Biography

Triathalon built its initial following from a series of house shows that led to playing venues such as the Savannah Stopover Festival and the Jinx in Savannah, GA. This created the opportunity to share the stage with many great artists including Dan Deacon and Dent May. The band is made up of former Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) students. Initially formed by Adam Intrator in 2011 with the release of self-recorded EP Relationchips. Today Triathalon consists of Intrator (vocals, guitar) along with Hunter Jayne (guitar), Chad Chilton (drums) and Alex Previty (bass). In early 2013, Triathalon released a 3 song EP entitled VIBES (produced, mixed and mastered by Peter Mavrogeorgis at Dollhouse Studios). Immediately following this release Triathalon put out another self recorded EP titled Seshing, which was tracked live in typical Triathalon fashion. Seshing is a “back to the basics” recording that is indicative of the band’s charm and style.
