Tribali’s fusion of world music will transport you to the ends of the earth and beyond. Each member’s vision is a kaleidoscope of colours which will both inspire you and enthrall you. Tribali are a colourful blend of talents which will impress, leaving an aftertaste of indescribable energy and vibe.

Biography

Whilst placing great emphasis on ethnic rhythms, Tribali incorporate the beauty and pathos of music from the orient. Their diverse use of instruments embraces percussion, flute, guitar and sitar to name a few, whilst the accompanying vocals complete the whole sonic vibe. A powerful stage presence is further energized by their use of visuals thus dramatically stimulating the audience.

Releasing their debut album in May 2006, they secured their position as one of Malta`s leading artists by charting and sustaining the number one sales charts position for several months. Consistently selling out shows, the band has also performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury ,the East Coast Bluesfest in Australia, as well as being instrumental for the 3rd year running Earth Garden Festival.

Tribali’s past works were also featured on Petrol Records, World Music network, The rough guide to Indian Lounge, Songlines, CNN, BBC, SBS, Gondwana Sound, Maramundi and many more.Their second album’ The Elephants of Lanka’ launched 22nd May 2009 is selling fast and currently receiving great reviews from all around the globe.
