Bio
During the summer of 2000, Tribal Legacy performed
at the Welcome Back to Brooklyn festival and
were well received. They are regular performers at the One
World annual music festival in NYC, the White Dog Café's
annual “Rum ‘n’ Reggae” street festival in Philly as well as
the Lunchtime Music Series sponsored by the Grand Central
Partnership. They have also performed at the MetLife building in
Manhattan to ring in the New Year as part of the First Night
celebrations, and Madison Square Garden during the World
Championships of the Pro-Beach Volleyball Tour. Other
performances include the very first Socarama held in North
America, various clubs in New York, New Jersey, Long Island,
Philadelphia and Maryland and the accompanying of many top
Caribbean artists.
Tribal Legacy has also performed at 17 State
prisons in Pennsylvania, and, in 2004, they were chosen to perform at two NACA Conferences. The responses from the college buyers resulted in Tribal Legacy touring well over 35 colleges from Maine to Maryland.
Our influences include Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Third World, 70's Funk artists, Mighty Sparrow and other top Soca artists, etc.
