T.R.I.B.E. is an acronym for Together Revolutionizing Industry Business and Entertainment. The movement's representatives are 3 African-American producers who know all too well the struggles of war torn Africa. Raised in traditionally Nigerian and Liberian homes, T.R.I.B.E. members Chinedu "G.Chyld" Nwabukwu (from PG County, MD), Prince "Molotov" Rolland and Clarence "C.Doe" Doe (Philadelphia-raised cousins) remain connected to their roots by using African drums as the heartbeat of their tracks. They symbolically liberate their respective nations by introducing the rest of us to native African instruments. T.R.I.B.E.'s sound successfully translates into club bangers or "ride out" music, as well as provides the ideal soundtrack for street poets that have a story to tell, and really want to make the song cry. But you see, its' about more than just the music, there's an underlying message found between the notes.....can you hear it?

While attending the University of Pittsburgh, each member of T.R.I.B.E., became a student of music, which is evident in their use of instrumentation as well as in their ability to capture the essence of specific regional sounds. Though strongest in collaboration, each producer has his own distinct flavor. "GodsChyld" contributes signature sound effects that serve to enhance the intended mood of the track. He also has a penchant for sonic elements that embody the essence of a particular moment in time. Once heavily influenced by DC's signature go-go, G.Chyld's sound evolved as he began to craft his own brand of hip-hop. Though he has added many collaborative projects to his resume, G.Chyld has seemed to find musical soul mates in Molotov and C-Doe.

Molotov is a master of melody, but more importantly, his music reflects an appreciation for a broad range of musical genres, often within each track. He can seamlessly blend a Mendelssohn concerto to sample with dirty drums and think nothing of branding it as classic T.R.I.B.E. material. C. Doe delves deeper, introducing the spiritual sound of their union with organ-heavy tracks to accompany to classic music-inspired melodies.

Though T.R.I.B.E. could easily achieve greatness individually, they conciously choose to Together Revolutionize Industry Business and Entertaiment because T.R.I.B.E. understands that the movement is about more than just making high quality music; it's also about identification and unification in pursuit of making history.
