Wide World

Written By: Zani McPherson

See that girl there so pretty?
She doesn’t recognize her soul
She thinks love comes from money
She doesn’t know her worth in gold
Tell me why? (why oh why oh why?)
Life isn’t easy (why oh why oh why?)
Gotta play tough to keep strong (why oh why oh why?)
Sometimes you gotta take it easy
(why oh why oh why?)
Hold on, hold on

There's a boy in the playground
Thinks he’s found the pot of gold
He’s making deals with the devil
In the end he’ll lose his soul
Tell me why? (why oh why oh why?)
Life isn’t easy (why oh why oh why?)
Gotta play tough to keep strong (why oh why oh why?)
Sometimes you gotta take it easy (why oh why?)
Oh why?

‘cus it’s a wide wide world
gotta hold to your perspective
wide wide world
don’t believe the collective
wide wide world
at times their view is shallow
wide wide world
hold on

Politicians at the table
Treat life like a game of chess
Well they're shaking hands and signing treaties
But they leave the whole world in a mess
Tell me why? (why oh why oh why?)
Life isn’t easy (why oh why oh why?)
Gotta play tough to keep strong (why oh why oh why?)
Sometimes you gotta take it easy (why oh why?)
Oh why?

‘cus it’s a wide wide world
gotta hold to your perspective
wide wide world
don’t believe the collective
wide wide world
at times their view is shallow
wide wide world
so hold on (repeat once)

I want to see my world
Through different eyes
Want to see the wrong
Turned into right (repeat once)

So I’ll be the change I want to see
Let the change begin with me (repeat twice)
I’ll be the change I want to see
Let the change begin

‘cus it’s a wide wide world
gotta hold to your perspective
wide wide world
don’t believe the collective
wide wide world
at times their view is shallow
wide wide world
so hold on

Para No Para (6 a.m.)

Written By: Zani McPherson

Sabes bien de donde vienes
No sabes nada mas
Mirate un poco pa' dentro
Que a lo loco vas corriendo
¿Donde vas? ¿donde vas por la vida sin parar?

Para no Para
La vida no para nunca
Hay que parar
Reflexionar
(repeat)
Le ya le ya le ya…

Six A.M. headed for nowhere
In the same place as the day before
Ten P.M. heading back from there
Feel so tired walking through the door
Emptiness feels so familiar
Always there to keep you company
Still you try filling the hollow
But what you really want is to be free
Le ya le ya...

So many hours remembering the past
And so many hours trying to forget
All the many tears for love that didn’t last
And the many years of things that you regret
Six A.M.
Morning comes quickly
Still the same routine as yesterday
Still you try filling the hollow
But what you really want is to be free

Le ya le ya…..

So many hours remembering the past
And so many hours trying to forget
All the many tears for love that didn’t last
And the many years of things that you regret
Six A.M.
Morning comes quickly
Still the same routine as yesterday
Still you try filling the hollow
But what you really want is to be free

Le ya le ya…….

¡Para no para la vida no para nunca!
¡Para no para la vida no para nunca!
¡Para no para la vida no para nunca!
