Tribute2BobMarley by Rootsriders celebrates the life and music of the King of Reggae in a spectacular fashion. Born-to-perform front man Junior & Dutch all-star band are NOT a coverband: Rootsriders is an artists-producers collective extra-ordinaire. A danceable cocktail of reggae, hiphop and soul, blended into a refreshing nu-pop extravaganza.
This project was set-up in spring 2006 with top-notch Dutch/Caribbean musicians to headline one of Europe’s biggest Marley Memorials on May 11th in Amsterdam. The rest of the year they toured the Netherlands with great success, accompanied by many Dutch celebrity guest vocalists and rappers.
