Trifecta

Guitarist/vocalist Pat Mormino and Drummer Dan Piccuirro met in early highschool due to similar musical tastes. They ellaborated on songs that Pat wrote while studying music at the same time. In stead of jumping to the standard of "becoming rich and famous rock stars with all the girls" they decided to figure out how and why certain songs cal send that chill down ones spine or how some songs give people enery while other songs can sooth and relax you. In a phrase, "tension and release". After a couple of years of recording they became eager to deliver their music to an audience but were restricted by one thing: no bass player. After jamming with all of the musicians in their area they became familiar with a friend from highschool who had as much of a facination with bass as a drummer does drums or a guitarist does a guitar (and that can be hard to find). After a few months of tightening the nuts and bolt and polishing the finish they initiated their band, TRIFECTA, a a battle of the bands called the Break Contest which involved a live performance at the Stone Pony. Since then they have been delivering their powerful message to audiences all over new jersey while continuing to write and record music influenced by bands such as Tool, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Jimi Hendix, etc. A nice mixture or Hard Rock, Classic rock and blues.
