The best kept secret in music

"The Fleece - 16th June 2008"

"This Bristol band benefit from the unpredictable nature of their music. Highly melodic songs twist and turn in and out of prog rock and indie territory, underlaid with electronic effects and unexpected guitar solos. At times you think you are listening to Muse (Cracks In The Wall for instance) and then OK Computer era Radiohead (the epic Reality TV). They can do the simple, plaintive stuff just as well, as they showed on Made Up. Altogether, very impressive."
- Keith Clark, Bristol Evening Post

"The Louisiana, Bristol - Friday 11th April 2008"

"Swiftly up next were Triggerfish. They began their set by informing the crowd that they will be starting tonight with the song they usually close their sets with. This was a move that definitely went down well with the crowd. After an upbeat start to their set, they then put down their guitars and switched to their keyboards and synthesisers for a mellow track that was tightly executed. The rest of their set illustrated the unique side of this bands synthesised rock, elevated by strong vocals. Showing such diversity throughout their set, demonstrates just how promising this band is." (Stu Freeman and Jason Ward, Suityourself Magazine) -

"Venue Magazine"

“…The night began promisingly enough with ‘Ok Computer’-ish Triggerfish, an emotive mix of soaring power and weary sadness. I’d guess they could find commercial success with a similar following to Keane, but they’re better than that; meatier, moodier and more Muselike when the guitarists let rip.Twin keyboards and unseen effects pedals allow for the throb and welt of their sound to morph nicely"
- Mike White

"The Fleece - 10th January 2008"

"Triggerfish appeared comfortable on stage, and clearly seemed to be enjoying themselves. All of their material consists of catchy guitar riffs and foot tapping beats. Their sound was flawless tonight from start to finish. These guys are worth keeping an eye on."
- Jodie Humphries,

Triggerfish is a band from Bristol that has been attracting attention with their own brand of prog/indie/rock. Their MUSIC is laden with catchy guitar riffs, meaty bass-lines, intricate rhythms and plenty of synth/electro effects, venturing from frantic drums and distorted guitars into more wistful keyboard and vocal driven tracks.

They have gigged regularly around the region, were winners of the Joe Public's Battle Of The Bands competition (Dec 2008) and are now becoming a well established part of Bristol's live music scene.
