Biography

My name is Trilliam (Born Troy William Keyn). I began writing music when I was 12 years old and have spent the last 15 years refining and perfecting my art and my message. The real breakthrough in my music came when I was 21 and began really piecing together sets and molding my first album. This first album was recorded in Southern California in 2004 with Jason Dancel, Aaron Banta, & Dean Oliverio. I returned to Portland, Oregon and spent the next 2 years performing throughout the metro area. My wife Martina and I, moved to Riverside, California to further pursue my music in one of the nation's music industry Hotspots, Los Angeles. Coming together with some new key players and adding a powerful back-up vocalist (Martina), my sound evolved and began to redefine Eclectic Rock. In 2007, we moved back to Portland where we currently live and perform. After some soul searching and vision casting I decided to disband the idea of the "Troy Keyn Band". I changed my name to Trilliam (a combination of my first and middle names - Troy and William) and am now venturing into new territory. With the addition of some incredible vocalists and songwriters, the music is taking a new turn and the name Trilliam is being lent to the project. So we present proudly a new sound with God at the center: Trilliam.

Lyrics

Sarah

Written By: Troy Keyn

Sarah plain and simple she
No heads turn to look and see
Her life is pretty quiet and invisible
Does not think herself a queen
prefers it if she isn't seen
But deep inside she wishes that she would be

Sarah I can see you now
You're perfect in my eyes
Though the world is stuck on beautiful things
Faces fade with time

Sarah's pain is simple you see
No one takes her seriously
Though her life is filled with plenty of love
She was never asked to prom feels like something's always wrong
Why can't the world see what I see?

Sarah I can see you now
You're perfect in my eyes
Though the world is stuck on beautiful things
Faces fade with time

Beauty comes in many shades
Few will ever stay the same
Though the look is bound to fade
Its the heart that will remain
And in the morning when you rise
What you see is not as real
As the look that's in your eyes
And the way you make me feel

Sarah's going on 23
Can be gorgeous if she wants to be
Coverup is all its said to be
But though her look may fit the mold
Beneath it all is a heart of gold
She's finally letting the world see what i see

Sarah I can see you now
You're perfect in my eyes
Though the world is stuck on beautiful things
Faces fade with time

Beauty comes in many shades
Few will ever stay the same
Though the look is bound to fade
Its the heart that will remain
And in the morning when you rise
What you see is not as real
As the look that's in your eyes
And the way you make me feel

Beauty comes in many shades
Few will ever stay the same
Though the look is bound to fade
Its the heart that will remain...
