Biography

A Wisconsin native, Lori Lopez wrote her first song in 1981 at Key West, Florida and since has written many ballads in a Folk-Rock style with traces of Pop, Acoustic, Soul, Latin, Country, and World appeal. Over the years some of her tunes were lost or forgotten, yet her dream of forming a band continued despite having no one but her sons who believed in her music. Waiting patiently for the time and equipment needed, at last in 2006 Trilllogy3 was born when the "Renaissance" artists began recording computer demos of their unique sound. Lori's heartfelt and meaningful ballads can finally be heard.

Following the footsteps of her uncle Lowell Lindberg, an accomplished steel guitar player, Lori never stopped trying to launch a career in music as well as writing and acting. She homeschooled her boys from Grades K through Twelve while penning screenplays and book projects, including her family’s inspirational journey.

Noél and Rafael made a number of television appearances (Tijuana, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Miami) as a Mexican Ballet Folkloric duo. Together the brothers and Lori staged comedy-variety shows for seven years, culminating with an Elvis tribute, at The Del Mar/San Diego County Fair. They have been featured in newspapers and a fine-arts magazine.

Noél is an award-winning inventor, writer and poet who has competed at regional, state, national, and international levels. He taught himself computer programming to design innovative software. Rafael has won awards for writing and acted professionally in television and film, along with developing his own epic book project from age eleven. The brothers trained as actors at John Robert Powers in La Jolla, California.

These are just some of this family’s achievements. They have launched a website (http://www.trilllogicinnoventions.com) to showcase their multiple talents and plan to record a first album titled “Fate” in coming months.

Another goal of the close-knit trio is to benefit the world through music, literature, technology, films, and example.

Keep The Heart Of A Child

Written By: Lori Lopez

KEEP THE HEART OF A CHILD (Words & Music By Lori Lopez – 1992)

How many wistful dreams are cast upon the stars at night?
Who collects the fragments when our hopes are lying scattered in the light?
Is there some better way
To reach a better day
When we can all
Live our lives?

The sun paints a rainbow to cover the clouds
A message of hope in a world full of doubt
And we who stand under and lift up our eyes
Must keep our hopes and dreams alive

And keep the heart of a child
Keep the stars shining in our eyes
Just imagine how it could be
If rainbows never end
Just imagine how it would be
If rainbows never end

Oh for the days and the ways to make everything right
How can we ever replace what we hope for with all of our might?
If it could only be
If they would only see
What’s inside of our hearts

The sun makes a rainbow through oceans of tears
Why can’t we make peace last through all of the years?
Why can’t we feed hunger and live with respect?
Why can’t we find these answers yet???

And keep the heart of a child
Keep the stars shining in our eyes
Is there some better way
To reach a better day
When we can all
Live our lives???

And keep the heart of a child
Keep the stars shining in our eyes
Just imagine how it could be
If rainbows never end
And keep the heart of a child
Keep the stars shining in your eyes
Just imagine how it would be
If rainbows never end.

Hold On To Your Dreams

Written By: Lori Lopez

HOLD ON TO YOUR DREAMS (Words & Music by Lori Lopez – 1993/2006)

Some dreams can be hard to reach
Like a bright and distant star
That you try to get a grip upon
But it’s always just too far
It’s a slow step up from where you’re at
To where you want to be
That seems to take forever when
Your heart is full of need

But hold on to your dreams
Even when you don’t know how to
Hold on to your dreams
Even when your best friends doubt you

We all need encouragement
In what we’re trying to achieve
It’s tough enough if you must aim too high
With no one else there to believe
It’s a lonesome road to travel on
To get where you want to be
And it seems to take forever when
Your heart is full of need

But hold on to your dreams
Even when you don’t know how to
Hold on to your dreams
Even when your best friends doubt you

And if you get the chance
To show what you can do
Take the stage and let it shine
For all the world to view

But if you should fall flat
Rise up and bounce right back
Give it everything
Give it everything you’ve got!

You’ve got to dream if you want to reach that distant star
Because the light you are searching for
Is in your heart.

Children Without Innocence

Written By: Lori Lopez

CHILDREN WITHOUT INNOCENCE (Words & Music By Lori Lopez – 1993)

I’ve been on a painful journey
I’ve come a long way
Through empty and crowded places
Exploding with hate
From houses of glass
To corners lined with dope
Where young people clash
For living without hope
Children without love
Bodies without nourishment
Hearts afraid to trust
Children without innocence

Everyone deserves to live with
Certain dignities
No matter how diverse or humble
Or small they may be
Ragged souls alone
Families torn apart
Children lost at home
All need a change of heart
Children without love
Bodies without nourishment
Hearts afraid to trust
Children without innocence
It breaks my heart
That such tragedies are real
But where are there the words enough
To make everybody feel?
We need a pool of love
That everyone throws something in
We need a pool of love
To wash away the suffering
We need a pool of love
To wash away the pool
Of tears

Children without love
Bodies without nourishment
Hearts afraid to trust
Children without innocence
Children without
Innocence.

Against The Knife

Written By: Lori Lopez

AGAINST THE KNIFE (Words & Music By Lori Lopez – 1983/1993)

You see me every day
You pass me on the street
Sometimes you look away
Sometimes you frown at me

I’m reaching out my hand to you
As if for life
I’m shakin’ in my worn-out shoes
Against the knife

I’m Homeless, I’m the poor
I’m easy to ignore
I’m where, but for the grace of God, goes everyone
Out there, but for the grace of God, goes everyone
So say a little prayer for me
I’ll pray for you!

I’m reaching out my hand to you
As if for life
I’m shakin’ in my worn-out shoes
Against the knife
Against the knife!

I’m living on the edge
Of your periphery
I’m wretched and obscure
But I’m Humanity!

I’m reaching out my hand to you
As if for life
I’m shakin’ in my worn-out shoes
Against the knife

You see me every day
You pass me on the street
Sometimes you look away
Sometimes you frown at me!

I’m reaching out my hand to you
As if for life
I’m shakin’ in my worn-out shoes
Against the knife
Against the knife!

I’m reaching out my hand to you
As if for life
I’m shakin’ in my worn-out shoes
Against the knife
Against the knife!
