Lance, who plays a variety of instruments, concentrates on the acoustic guitar, winning several awards for his accomplished, self taught style. His baritone/tenor voice is so smooth it makes the transition from lead vocal to the harmony mix appear seamless. His perfect pitch ear earns him the job of sound technician and producer of the band. He arranges most of the vocal parts to each song. In his spare time, he is a recording and mix engineer at the Covenant Recording studio in Amarillo, TX. Being the oldest brother, he takes his leadership role seriously, always encouraging the others with a firm foundation of faith that does not waiver. Landon is the middle man, the music anchor for the band. His strong, hard driving, upbeat banjo playing is the foundational sound of the group. Landon learned to play his banjo by watching and listening to other pickers, combining everything to create his own style. He has an extraordinary ability to animate his banjo to fit the mood of each song. Responsibility for the instrumental arrangements of the songs falls on Landon’s capable shoulders. His smooth low voice allows him to be the bass vocal in the harmony of the band as well as step out and sing lead on a few songs. This very personable, friendly young man loves to meet and encourage those who stop by the product table. You’ll always find him giving you one of his contagious smiles. Levi’s enthusiastic approach to life brings energy to the Triple L Band. Levi always has a song in his heart that spills out no matter where he is or what he is doing. His lead and tenor vocals are strong with great melody. His vocal efforts led to winning the “2005 Youth in Bluegrass” title at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri. Levi has a self taught style on the mandolin as well as the guitar. He often hears more “melody” in a song than the others so he is a crucial part of the song arrangements. Levi is the video/camera man for the band as well as helping with the video at his church. Although Levi is the youngest of the Triple L Brothers, he is their prayer warrior. Len has a deep love for music and his family. The Triple L Band gives him the opportunity to combine his passions. Since he enjoys many different styles of music, he has a special ability to put a unique blend to the family’s harmony. His easy to listen to voice has great control as lead and harmony vocals. Music is a powerful gift that Len shares unconditionally. His self taught technique on dobro has an aggressive sound for the faster beat songs and a sweet melody for the slower tempo songs. Amy who plays bass keeps the band in time and makes sure they are on time as well. Being a mom is a great joy in her life. She has dedicated her life to her husband and family and enjoys seeing them grow musically and spiritually as well. Amy’s main job is to interact with the audience, introducing songs, telling stories, sharing God’s gift of love to others. Occasionally the boys get her to sing. She keeps the family singing through bookings, her internet social sites and promotional advertising. Triple L Band’s inspiration comes from God, the words of their songs carry that message. As a family it is our belief that there is no greater blessing in this world than to be using the gifts God has given you to glorify Him. We believe that everyone has a gift from God and want to encourage them to use those gifts for his glory. It is our goal that our music, friendship and lives reflect God’s love.
