Drawing inspiration from the Beatles, Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zeppelin, and Jeff Buckley, Tripp Fontaine crafts a sound unique enough in its own right, yet familiar enough for mass appeal.

Biography

"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent." —Victor Hugo

This Dallas-based four-piece meld soaring vocals with heart wrenching guitar solos and driving drum and bass to create a sonic representation of the full range of human emotion.

Like the brothers Gallagher of Oasis, Joey and Aaron have been playing together since birth. Troy and Brandon, though not technically related, are brothers in their own right. It was not until the spring of 2002 that fate, and the prodding of a mutual friend, brought these four together. Gathering around an acoustic guitar, chemistry and creative cohesiveness were immediately evident. Each brought a different perspective and pooled uniquely from their musical influences. The results were a blend of edgy British rock and grass roots honesty. The band which would become Tripp Fontaine booked its first show and found its home on stage. From that first performance forward, they have never been happier than when performing live together.

Lyrics

Burning Out

Written By: Tripp Fontaine

It's alright if you're afraid
It's alright if you don't know what to say
Someday you'll learn to fly
You got to let yourself be free

Because your light is burning out
Don't let it fade away
Hey, hey, tell me how you feel

I wake up in the morning
To your faded halo
Watch you walk out the door
And turn around, you don't know where to go
You're hanging on so desperately to your broken dreams
When it only seems they left you long ago
While you were getting high they were waiting down below

Because your light is burning out
Don't let it fade away
Hey, hey, tell me how you feel

It's about the way you feel
It's the angel in your skin
So just let it breathe...
