greats such as B.B. King, Albert King,Freddy King, Muddy Waters, with a blend of Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Neville Brothers, Doyle Bramhall Jr., Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton. Each member of the band also adds influences from mentors and artist they each grew up with.
Tripple Threat performs both originals and covers with a passion that a true blues fan will comprehend, yet any listener will appreciate. Their unique approach to the blues sets them apart from other bands.
Tripple Threat's beginning goal is to introduce and revive the blues, while gathering a fan base of all ages, yet targeted toward ages 18-27.
This Hollister, Missouri band formed in January of 2004, debuting their act at a cancer benefit where they helped raise $2600.00.
Steve Cole and Nate Keck reviewed the bands sound, pushing toward the original concept invisioned by Steve Cole.
In order to remain true to the blues, changes needed to be made. The band became a three piece with Van Lawrence stepping in to replace Gary Hodges as drummer. The bands sound quickly solidified into "Tripple Threat". With Van on board, Tripple Threat has come full circle into "The Brotherhood Of The Threat".
By remaining true to the blues, Tripple Threat is honoring the most passionate of all music genres.
