BandCountryPop

Oklahoma-born Trisha Fogle, likes her country music with generous helpings of pop, folk, and good ole' rock n' roll. Her ballads are catchy, hook-based, and bleed pain from a heart well beyond its years. In her up-tempos, you'll find driven, women-empowering, life-inspiring songs.

Biography

Seasoned beyond her years, Trisha Fogle has become a regular on the Nashville performing songwriter scene.

This native of Oklahoma began singing as a young girl and dreamed of the day that she could pursue her passion as a performer in Nashville. In 2003, she was accepted into the prestigious Recording Industry Program at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville and quickly joined various groups that would help nurture her talent such as BMI and NSAI. In addition to learning the fundamentals of the music business, Trisha discovered a love of songwriting and was afforded an outlet to perform her works for audiences of fellow songwriters and industry professionals. In February of 2008, through a live audition process, Trisha was choosen to join the family of songwriters at the renowned Bluebird Cafe. Now an MTSU graduate, Trisha eats, sleeps, and breathes songwriting and singing. She is outwardly looking for any opportunity to share her music with world.
An outstanding voice, outgoing personality and a drive and determination rarely seen in a performer so young has given her the momentum to succeed. Trisha looks forward to the day when she can grace the same stages as her idols and perform all over the world.

Lyrics

You Changed My Life

Written By: Trisha Fogle/Jason Gantt/ Jeremy Cottrell

VERSE 1:
I'M SO OVER THIS
BABY, YOU HAD YOUR SHOT BUT MISSED
AND NOW I'VE MOVED ON
GET OVER IT

VERSE 2:
YOU SAID IT YOURSELF THAT THIS WOULD NEVER WORK
WE'D BE SETTING OURSELVES UP FOR HURT
YOU HAD KNOW IDEA
HOW RIGHT YOU WERE

CHORUS:
NOW I'M FEELING THAT I'M LIVING FOR THIS FIRST TIME

EVERYDAY IT'S GETTING BETTER, LIKE A FINE WINE

I'M STILL LEARNING WHAT TO KEEP AND WHAT TO LEAVE BEHIND

GUESS I SHOULD THANK YOU; YOU CHANGED MY LIFE

VERSE 3:
YOU SAID IT WAS YOU; IT WASN'T ME
SAID IT JUST WASN'T MEANT TO BE
HONEY, YOU WERE SO RIGHT
AND NOW I SEE

Last Time For Everything

Written By: Trisha Fogle/Jason Gantt/ Jeremy Cottrell

Verse 1
You took my car out till two a.m.
And all you brought back was your friends
I’ve been put out, completely burned out
More times than I can stand

I’m not your maid, I’m not your mother
You need to understand who I am

Chorus
This is the last time I’ll let you in
I’m changin’ the locks, don’t darken my door anymore
If you think your gonna win, If you think I’m cavin’ in
There’s a last time for everything

Verse 2
You never took your time
You just wasted mine, now ours is at an end
A girl has gotta stand up, put up, or shut up
And I’m gonna stand

I’m movin’ on, I’ll find another
You’re down to yourself and nobody else

Chorus X2

Outro
No more next times
There is a last time
This is the last time I’ll let you in
I’m changin’ the locks
Don’t darken my door anymore
If you think you’re gonna win
If you think I’m cavin’ in
There is a last time

There is a last time for everything
This is the last time I’ll let you in
This is the last time I’ll let you win
There is a last time for everything
