Bio

Born in Los Angeles on July 30th, 1983, her family later headed north and she was raised in Redding California. Trisha has been singing since the ripe age of two and found her way into writing music around age fifteen when her close friend tragically disappeared. A forever life changing event, this consequentially transformed her life as an artist. She found the best outlet for her anger and confusion was through music and discovered an entirely new form of expression and fell in love with everything about writing. The remainder of her high school years were spent performing throughout Northern California in various venues and convention centers, including the Arco Arena and at a Marcy Brothers concert. It would be wrong for any singer/songwriter to not also note the countless hours spent playing at the many coffee houses in the area where the singer feels her craft was truly honed. Trisha was accepted to California State Northridge's competitive music school where she received her Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance. She sang in, and had the opportunity to be section leader in the school's elite Choir, The Northridge Singers, led by world renowned Director and composer Dr. Paul Smith. While attending, the choir received the prestigious 'Choir of the World' award in Wales, as well as a concert at Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, the opening of the Kodak Theater and the chance to sing with Barabara Streisand at the Democratic Convention. Trisha took on Opera of all avenues during college and was honored to get the chance to have leading roles in 'Hansel and Gretel', 'Madame Butterfly', and 'Julius Caesar' to name a few. Now living in Los Angeles County, she enjoys playing at the many unique venues the area boasts including, Universal Bar and Grill, Hard Rock Cafe, The Viper Room, The Queen Mary, Clancy's, The Blue Cafe, Gaslamp and Fourteen Below to name a few. When asked about her music Trisha notes that, "My hope is that my music will provoke thought. I feel we live in a society where the focus isn't on who we are but what we have. If my songs can make people look inward,I feel that defines why I do what I do."
