Tri-Squad (Performing under the name T-Squad) is a hip-hop group that has a tasteful blend of mid 90's style with a variety of modern music. The acappella freestyle portion of our shows wins the crowd over everywhere we go. We originally started of as a group of guys who travel to various cities in the Midwest to hit the party scene. While we were on road trips, we would take a karaoke machine and record ourselves freestyling onto cassette tapes. Eventually, the group made a connection with some other artists on the SquareTownBiz Records label, and we started recording songs together. Tri-Squad along with hip-hop/reggaeton artist Unique created an intro song intro for the UFC fighter Stone Henge. The rest is to be history in the making.
Interesting Facts:
The name Tri-Squad doesn't have anything to do with the number three. There are other people in our crew, we are just the rappers. It's actually derived from the way people come rock with us at the club. So many "try" to be like the "squad" and from that, you get the name Tri-Squad.
