"Visually repulsive and lyrically transgressive, Troglodyte attempted to appall its mesmerized audience. The band wears horrific masks and performs songs with titles like "Skunk Ape Rape" and "Beaten and Eaten." Yet dismissing Troglodyte as an even more cartoonish version of Slipknot would be a mistake. Songs like "Don't Go In the Woods" are genuinely disturbing."

Bio
Forged from a love of all things "crypto," 70's docu-horror like 'Legend of Boggy Creek' and 'In Search of...' episodes and Time-Life "Monsters of the Unknown" books, TROGLODYTE has been hammering out it's brand of metal since late 2005. Members were masks and don similar outfits to take the focus off the individual and focus on what is truly important, the music.
Not much else is known about it's members. Two are practicing "Crypto-zoologists" who pursue endeavors in the search for undiscovered species.
