Bio

Taking to the stage right out of high school, Troy Conrad is one of the hardest working comics in the U.S., and is one of the most requested acts in Los Angeles. As a graduate of the writing conservatory programs at Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Improv Olympic, and Second City Los Angeles. For three years Troy produced and hosted the TV program, “Strictly Standup.” Also writer for the Jay Mohr roast on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing 3,” he currently writes for “The Big News Show” at IO West, His keen eye for solid, original material is why he was chosen to judge the Las Vegas Comedy Festival alongside colleague Eddie Brill. Troy also stars in the pilot episode of the upcoming TV show “Laugh Out Loud”, from the producers of The Real World.

A former anti-rock music fundamentalist and door-to-door Bible salesman, who later realized this was a massive mistake. Now a stand for rational thought and a self-proclaimed freethinker, Troy’s act is a high-energy compilation of counterculture insights and is reminiscent of a religious studies class crossed with your funny drunk friend at that one party last summer.
