Bio
Musically gifted at an early age, Troy Michael started playing the guitar at the age of 12 and the piano at the age of 15. Troy sang his first written song "Stop Search'n Child" in church not knowing that he was stepping into his destiny.
Troy Michaels life as a child was not always fun and games but through all his trials and tribulations, he has continued to give praises to God. After years of drugs and alcohol, Troy's parents knew they needed change and that change came when they found the Lord. God has changed my family forever. His word has fulfilled itself, which states that he has called us out by name, equipped us to send us back into the nations as his light to shine forth in the dark places.
He has been serving as the praise and worship leader for over 16 years at Mt. Victory Word of Faith Church in Pontiac, MI. A passion for ministry, Troy Michael Aleman (lead vocal and guitar) is also the founder of the contemporary blues band Brothers Union along with brothers Javier Aleman (Bass), Nick Aleman (drums and vocals) and later added Jeff Beach (rhythm guitar). Brothers Union was formed in Waterford, MI (1989). Brothers Union produced their first album titled "Still Climb'n"(2000). Troy Michael states, Its a family affair. Family is definitely important to him. Thankfully, he has his wife of 15 yrs and four children, to support him.
Troy Michael released his first gospel album The Sounds of Mt. Victory December 2004. Developed for praise and worship, this album has an allegro sound, uplifting and upbeat.
With much anticipation, Troy recently joined the U.G.M.A.C. Music Group, Inc.
What a mighty God we serve! Troy Michael begins each day with a "great expectation" to see the plan of Father fulfilled through his life.
