Rolling out of Austin, Texas, TRUETONE is a Rock ‘n’ Roll cover band with no apologies. Tearing up the stage with songs ranging from fun dance tunes from some of today’s modern rockers to our Texas blues roots, TRUETONE plays all the hits you know with all the passion they have.

Branching out and expanding their fan base, the band is seeking other music venues to showcase their prodigious talent throughout Texas. Armed with an exciting 4 hour show, the band can make any night memorable with great musicianship and interaction with the crowd.

Honing their skills from other Austin music experiences, such as the straight blues/rock of The American Thighs, and the noise-rock squeals of the Misguided Lemming and Adyton, TRUETONE is a four-piece Classic Rock and Blues cover band ready to get the dance floor full with their own brand of the best from the Classic Rock and Dance tunes of the 70’s & 80’s to slow burning Texas blues classics.

TRUETONE lyrics are handled by singer Brad Smith. Owning and operating his own Karaoke business for 10 years, he has seen the trends come and go and knows how to get a crowd going with fantastic vocals and great front-man skills. Drummer Dan Peterson comes to TRUETONE from a heavy-hitting background of John Bonham and Keith Moon, so he keeps the beat alive on his Pearl Master Custom Drum Set with awesome backbeats and killer fills to keep everyone listening. Serving up hot licks and solid rhythm is guitarist Richie Lozano. A student of the Texas School of Guitar Heroes, Richie brings the giant tones of SRV and ZZ Top to the stage with Fender Stratocasters blazing and all the intensity required, plus more. Rounding out the musical pallet are the low frequency pulses emanating from the Fender Precision Bass in the seasoned hands of bassist Scott Loewen. As a veteran of the Austin live music circuit, Scott has all the chops needed to keep your feet moving.
