The words trendsetter and original definitely define the group Trufam. With music that mashes up the worlds of hip hop and pop Trufam is a group that is making head way into the music industry. The group is composed of twin brothers (hence the name) whos names are Young Sha and Just I. The two brothers music have been getting radio play with their fan favorite and chart hit Explode. The song has a reggae tone and an infectious chorus that i am sure everyone would love.I think Trufam is what hip hop is all about and that is Creativity, Passion, and Talent. So what is next for Trufam in 2009? " we will be dropping our album in August its titled Strength n Numbers.. This weekend on June 7th 2009 Tru Fam will be performing at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. They will be performing songs off of their debut album which will be out later this summer. Some of the songs include Explode Ft: MiShell and the iTunes favorite No No No. The show will be family friendly and a whole lot of fun and excitement. - UM2N

TRU FAM is a emerging pop-hip hop group with music with an edge and a lot of flavor. Growing up in NJ which was a spawning ground for drugs and gang violence the twins Young Sha and Just I chose to avoid the negativity of the street life. They found their passion in entertainment. Listening to hip hop from a very young age and mimicking some of their favorite rap artist like Ma$e, Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, and Notorious BIG. It is no wonder they were predestined to entertain. The passion behind their music stems from the love of hip hop. Tru Fam’s lyrics pertain to everything from partying, relationship and hardships. Sort of in the mind of a Kanye West where he writes from the heart of some of his experiences. This is what Tru Fam elaborates on when they are writing and coming up with hooks for their songs. “The fact of actually being a twin makes it a little easier because you have someone who thinks like you to a certain degree.” Young Sha and Just I compliment one another anywhere from their delivery to their writing abilities. They just go hand and hand.They both write and co-produce most of their songs and work diligently to make sure their sound stays personable. Benedict Hadley who is a movie/film/video director who has shot TRU FAMs music video “Explode Ft: MiShell and projects for major celebrities such as Jay Z and Tony Yayo had this to say about TRU FAM. “You are certainly talented and has what it takes to make it in the entertainment business and make great music too”. Wallace Collins who is a entertainment attorney also noted as saying “Thanks for the great listen” .These are just some of the comments that they are receiving from professionals in the entertainment business. TRU FAM just completed their debut album. The album is scheduled to be released digitally online later this summer. Their music video for their single “Explode Ft: MiShell is being played online at You Tube, Clever, Spike and many more websites.
