Trump Dawgs

Trump Dawgs is comprised of some of Kansas City's most gifted players. Formed in late 2000, this band was sent on a cosmic, musical mission from God. This mission, simply put, is to "keep it real" and make music that conveys "all that is funky, all that is heavy and all that is beautiful." Featuring former Waterdeep members Kenny Carter (guitar, lead vocals) and Anthony Case (bass, bgv's), Pillar's Lester Estelle (drums), Luke Sullivant (guitar, bgv's), Donald Carter (percussion, bgv's, mc) and David Kelly (turntables), Trump Dawgs is a sort of funked out jam band with brutal modern rock tendencies and a flair for progressive vocal hooks. Driven by mounds of experience in their local music scene and the music industry at large, Trump Dawgs' members are a strangely natural collection of musical hybrids. What if Soundgarden got together with Steve Wonder and P-Funk wandered in with Jeff Buckley, D'Angelo and Pedro The Lion. This is the very type of gumbo that Trump Dawgs has concocted.
