Trust Tree

Trust Tree is a unique independent band blending alternative, punk and classic rock sounds into soaring melodies and powerful choruses that bode well for all venues. Major influences include U2, REM, Green Day, Better than Ezra, Goo Goo Dolls. Have played major local and regional venues.
The band started in Tulsa, OK in 1999. Bob Reppe and Dave Haroldson continued to write and develop the unique sound that is now Trust Tree, despite losing their drummer to a move. After 3 and a half years of searching extensively for the right talent and the right person, Steve Bruns auditioned and the fit was instantaneous. The powerful chrouses and thought provoking lyrics combined with Edge-like delay effects on guitar, give this three piece a unique yet familiar sound, enhanced with Steve's powerful drumming and creative fills. In fact, most comment when they hear the band that each original has it's own influence, i.e., punk, rock, alternative, classic rock, etc...
The band's first CD was recorded at Zac Malloy's (The Nixons, Bowling for Soup, David Cook, Blue October) studio in Tulsa. Upcoming projects will be a new CD recorded and mixed in Austin, TX. Recently Trust Tree opened for Greyhound Soul and Geoffrey J at O'Malley's in Tucson, Arizona.
