From the time TRUTH was a child, he felt he was being groomed for this. Truth was reared in a social environment where hip hop was really becoming a leading force of musical expression. By 1989 Truth joined a group and began traveling. “It just goes way back…..as far as I can remember,” he adds, “from the time I was 12, I remember doing things in front of crowds…reading poems, singing, recitations….it was just a part of who I was.” Truth moved to Los Angeles where he continued to perfect his craft. When he linked with super producer Howie “Hitman” Tee, songs were being recorded daily. Songs that really touched the inner man and had a message of truth. Truth wants people to think……He’s not concerned with going out here and just flowing and have nothing to say. He also wants to be an example of what those songs represent. Truth contends, speaking and living the truth is key!
