Thoughtful, hopefully inspirational hip hop. Not above getting down though.

Biography

Music is life, and I love life. Without music to sustain me, I can't imagine where my path would have taken me. As long as I've loved music I've loved hip hop. In grade school, me and my man Eyvre were bumping DMX and dreaming of the good life. The only reason I went to school was to go to choir and music classes, trying to understand as much as I could. After HS, I got into music production on my computer, and I finally found a means to make the music I wanted. Since then, making music and writing lyrics is about all I do. This is my life no doubt.
I wouldn't be making the music I make right now if it weren't for the artist that inspire me. Hip hop visionaries like Atmosphere, J5, Wu-Tang, and Jedi Mind Tricks. But I also love laid back surf rock, like Jack Johnson or The Expendables. Hard rock like Incubus, and even classical, especially Bach. I was once in a Pop Punk band called "10 Bucks Short". I was the lead singer. It was a great experience that ended too soon. And now, I'm with the Everyday Ritual crew. That being myself and the afore mentioned Eyvre.
I once heard someone explain his choice for the best MC in the game by the logic; "He gets on tracks that most other rappers in the game wouldn't touch." That actually made alot of sense to me. I've tried to make a conscious effort to make hip hop that touches all bases and all ears. Everyone listens to hip hop these days, but they're not all listening to the same thing. I don't identify with any genre or label, I just make the music I'm feeling at the moment.
