Bio

Committed to do God’s will, this power packed duo is a husband and wife team (Tori & Jason Peoples) whose love for music and more importantly God’s people is unparalleled. Truthful Justice embraces the love of Christ and has chosen to share with the world how he is changing lives through the “TJ” movement. They seek to shed light on pivotal issues plaguing the Body of Christ, particularly the misconception that marriages don’t work in the church. Truthful Justice takes the simple approach of “Delivering Truth…Providing Opportunity,” because while the truth can hurt, we find that our strength lies in having the opportunity to get it right.

Truthful Justice is determined to "not hide righteousness in their hearts, to declare his faithfulness and his salvation, and not to conceal his loving-kindness and his truth from his people." Psalms 40:10

Truthful Justice is influenced by traditional/urban jazz and the origins of Gospel. Taking key notes from legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Oscar Peterson, Count Basie, and more recent bands like Dapp Theory and the Roots. Knowing that blending is not an easy task, Truthful Justice has managed to give birth to their own sound venturing into the new world of Urban Gospel music. Stop Killin’ Me, Empty, and Forever all encompass the attributes of jazz, 70’s funk, and Neo Soul, which gives each song the unique ability to capture the ears of believers and non-believers; young and old.

Tori and Jason (Truthful Justice) are the proud parents of Jayah Noelle Peoples, and Youth Pastors of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah Ministry’s “Garden Youth Ministry.” They’re also the founders of EvoLeap Studios Inc., and the Jacksonville Taekwondo and Fitness Academy. They have observed and study the effects that mainstream secular music and gangs has on the hearts and minds of our youth, and once again through these ventures, seek to combat it with life changing opportunity through music and sport.

The Word of God says that “the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the just.” So instead of waiting for the wicked to fall Truthful Justice is coming out to minister salvation to the hearts and minds of the wicked. In doing so they’ll bring not only the wealth, but also the individual back to the kingdom
