Montrez Jones, known by his stage name TRXZ., is an independent singer-songwriter born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. By blending a smooth mix of spoken word poetry, Neo-Soul/R&B vocals, and harmonic undertones over modern instrumentals, he has created his own sound within the Alternative R&B subgenre. Throughout his upbringing, he spent most of his time writing Spoken Word, leading and participating in local Musical Theatre productions, singing in various choirs, and participating in local talent shows and showcases. He has since channeled all of these experiences into creating musical works of art aimed at granting solace and restoring an older, lost form of R&B to a younger audience.
