Bio

Tseringcho was born in India to the Gyangzurtsang, a family of noble descent from Kutse in eastern Tibet. Her father, a former monk, taught her to chant when she was a young child. Her mother, who came from a long line of respected female Buddhist practitioners recongnized as dakinis, taught her daughter to sing traditional Tibetan melodies.
