Tsuga - Northwest Stoner Psych
Tsuga (/ˈsuːɡə/,[3] from Japanese: 栂 (ツガ), the name of Tsuga sieboldii) is a genus of conifers in the pine family Pinaceae. The common name hemlock is derived from a perceived similarity in the smell of its crushed foliage to that of the unrelated plant poison hemlock. Unlike the latter, Tsuga species are not poisonous.Tsuga is a Northwest heavy rock band that sounds like if Cheech & Chong were trapped in spiraling F-16 fighter jet that was crashing into the mouth of mount Vesuvius. Inspired by nature and its essential heaviness, Tsuga aims to bring the quality of music that the west coast to your eyes and ears.
