STORY BEHIND MUSIC

I, Tracy Hill was in a tragic car accident on April 18, 2012. I had two teach myself to walk again. I worked so hard every day, that I healed up in 8 weeks, instead of 14 weeks. That’s when I discovered that I could do anything I put my mind to. In late 2011, I started writing 60 poems, and raps, but I had not recorded them.
After the accident, I wanted to live my dream of being a rapper with my own unique style. So, on Aug. 15, 2012, I formed a singing group with two longtime friends, Tamara Croom the lead singer, and music producer Dana (Flex) Thompson. Together we formed a group called T&T. Our style of music is Pop fused with Hip-Hop. What sets us apart is our unique style and the fact that young and old people all like and can relate to our subject matter in our music. Our music is about the words. We sing from the heart and soul and we leave you wanting more. We are greatly influenced by the greats like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Tina Turner Mixed with Timberland style music. After we decided to form a band, and in two days he recorded and mastered the music for 13 of the15 songs on CD. Tamara learned the hook for ten songs in one day, and in the same two days, I learned 13 of the 15 raps and 5 hooks. On Aug. 18, 2012 we went into the studio for the first time together and recorded 13 of the 15 songs on the Cd in one day. I hope you enjoy it.
