Background - Born & raised in Muskegon, MI, Daniel E. Phelps II Discovered a love for music very early in life. At age 12, after showing a unique interest in the art of blending, mixing, and scratching music, young Daniel aspired to become a Dj; but not just any Dj, the “Ultimate” Dj. After purchasing his first set of turntables + years of practice and experience, Daniel has become just that “The Ultimate Dj”. Moving to Grand Rapids, MI in 2004, Daniel wasted no time making a name for himself in “Gun Rule’s” Nightlife & Music Scene. Now age 18, The Ultimate Dj is ready to take one small step for his supporters and one giant step into the music industry.

Catering to clubs, radio, mixtapes, and events; The Ultimate DJ spins a wide variety of music genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Oldies, Gospel, 50's - 90's, Top 40, Pop, Techno, Disco, Go-Go, Electronica, House, Grunge, Rock, Punk, Classical, Country, Ethnic, etc. Not your typical event Dj, The Ultimate Dj creates an atmosphere tailored for your taste. The MC - TUD, as he is called when referred to as an artist, is breaking all barriers in music and creating a new diverse style that is signature to himself. With influences such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Pharrell Williams just to name a few; TUD is a well rounded musician and has a passion for music. “Music is my life” as he often states, “What would a movie be like with no music?
