"Rock Doesn't Have to be the Devils Music"

"Some bands wear religion on their sleeves. The Bloom keep it mostly under their hats. The female-fronted quintet's lyrics are spiritual without being overly preachy, while their U2 inspired anthems try to blend chiming melodies and soaring arrangements with enough guitar crunch and percussive oomph to make it clear rock doesn't have to be the devil's music. Amen to that." 3/5 - Winnipeg Sun

"I love this review"

Oh, I hate reviewing Christian bands. You just know that the guys and girls in Tuesday Bloom are super-nice people, who, inspired by their faith, just want to spread a message of hope and peace - and because of my blasphemous bent, I'm probably going to rip into them. But should I? I mean, Marie Cormier Brunet and Janelle Krebs both possess heavenly voices and, musically speaking, everyone in the band is blessed. Also, the production is top-notch and anybody with a fondness for gentle pop-rock will appreciate this. So, I'm going to stop here, ignore the evil spirits that usually guide my musical tastes, and say if you like Christian rock, you'll like Tuesday Bloom.

Tuesday Bloom's self titled Debut Album was released in September 2008

It was nominated "Rock Album of the Year" at the 2008 Covenant Awards - Canadian Gospel Music Association

Tuesday Bloom is a rock pop band from Winnipeg, Canada that began as a duo in 2005 with guitarist Adrian Besaw and vocalist Marie Cormier Brunet. By the following year, drummer André Brunet and bassist Josh Gervais had joined the band and solo artist Janelle Krebs completed the line up.

In September of 2008, they released their self-titled debut CD, a heart-filled rock album comprised of ten original songs recorded in both English and French. “Recording was an amazing experience… being able to develop our music and work towards a quality of sound and depth that we are truly proud of”, says Marie. The band was recognised nationally with Covenant Award nominations for Rock Album of the Year and Rock Song of the Year (My Everything).

Their music is a mix of energetic rock and stirring melodies with lyrics that speak to the heart. The band’s Catholic faith is a major influence in their music, which hopes to inspire all who listen.

On stage, the band impacts their audience with energy and depth, performing original songs as well as leading their audience to prayer through worship rock music.
