Bio
Tumako is a Toronto based instrumental ensemble specializing in contemporary Afro/Funk and Soul. Formed by bassist Robert Bravo, it features Frazer Box on lead guitar, Marco Bonatti on Baritone Sax, and Benjamin Thomas on drums.
The band focuses on performing original music as well as repertoire from the best in contemporary Afro/Funk and Soul bands such as The Monophonics, Kutiman, The Jive Turkeys, and The Budos Band.
With a strong emphasis on in the pocket grooves, melodic horn lines, and exciting arrangements, the band is sure to have the audience up on their feet and dancing.
