turbine cowboy has yet to release any singles, EPs, or LPs in its current incarnation, although members of the band have participated in many releases by other projects in a wide variety of musical genres, from folk & country to reggae & hip-hop.

turbine cowboy is like a totally chaotic and interlacing network of barely discernible roads winding around and around in a sort of frenzied confusion that illustrates the severity of simple decisions (north, south? left, right?) and the endlessly intersecting roads of decision-making that our everyday choices take us to.
it may be argued that as a collective, we suffer from a condition called "abulia", a medical term best defined as "an inability to make decisions or act independently" that is typically characteristic of certain neurotic and psychotic conditions. we have attempted to illustrate this idea in the writing of our music by composing songs in various tempos, cadences, and moods. lyrically, it is our intent to express a wide scope of emotional visions, traveling through fear, animosity, and dejected resignation to yearning hopefulness, confidence, and love. a number of our songs utilize the accessibility of catchy pop melodies to express bitterness and abandon in such a manner as to symbolize the confusion with which we treat these disagreeable sentiments in our own lives, while the loosely structured and barely tangible arrangements of other songs are designed to leave listeners feeling as though they've been pulled in different directions by vehement, perfidious waves in the middle of the sea.
for all intents and purposes, we try to the best of our abilities to empathize with modern struggles without seeming omniscient, aloof, or pretentious. ergo, try not to take us too seriously, lest you attribute many of the demented and despondent dispositions cathected in our music to the individual members of our band.
