“Glorious noise” / “You get the sense they’ve only just scratched the
surface of their talent” KKKK - Kerrang! Magazine
“Like the sweaty aftermath of an all-nighter in a dingy North London dive, in the very, very best way possible” / “Exceptional” 8/10 - Rock Sound Magazine
“You’ve never heard anything like this” / “Idealistically retro, yet crushingly contemporary / Completely otherworldly and frustratingly catchy” - Metal Hammer Magazine
Turbowolf are huge within the Bristol scene, having grown up there I saw them play a range of venues almost every weekend over the last six years. However, now on the verge of releasing a second album, the band’s waves of rock’n’roll, psychedelia, heavy metal, punk rock and electronica (yep, they’re hard to classify) look set to reach the wider masses. Playing a string of intimate UK dates, their raucous set at London’s Barfly (25 April) was full of headbanging mosh-pit madness, which included me getting hoisted onto a burly man’s shoulders and losing my shoes and watch in the process – it was worth it. With a snarling punk attitude and speaker crunching riffs if the London show was anything to go by, their new record will be pretty darn spectacular indeed. - Q Magazine Online
"The double A side crashes in with the raucous, synth laced and testosterone fuelled Bite Me Like A Dog, a classic example of our canine friends at their noisiest best. However, the gem in this release is epic love-song Power. Less pop-pussy than a dog pound and more soaring vocals, uplifting drumbeats, pulsing electronica and racing guitars, building into monumental no prisoners chorus. All in all, an audio feast not for the faint-hearted." - NME
"Turbowolf blend the most thrilling essences of hardcore and metal into a mind-melting pot of stomping riffs and throttling synths. Billed as a 'Small Tour of New Music' their deliver on their promise with new tracks including Rabbit's Foot and Solid Gold. Luckily for the band, actions speak volumes, as sweaty limbs fly every which way across the Barfly. Bookended by the best of 2011's selt-titled debut in Ancient Snake and Read & Write, Turbowolf are a truly fearsome beast tonight" KKKK - Kerrang! Magazine
"We made it just in time for Turbowolf, who have been having a wonderful summer so far. Turbowolf deal in noise and noise alone, so in the midst of Friday's colossal line up they were the perfect anti-respite to charge us up as the afternoon powered on. Third on the Pepsi Max stage, the band treated the over subscribed tent to raucous half hour of perfectly executed, heart stopping rock fitting for the heavy metal weekender" - Punktastic
"Turbowolf are greeted by a packed Electric Ballroom. Even with a set heavy with material from their forthcoming album, they still hold the audience captivated. All eyes are on frontman Chris Georgiadas during his bizarre in-between song banter, and even pulls one lucky fan on stage to play keyboards, freeing himself to bust out his unique dance moves" - Classic Rock Magazine

Bio
Turbowolf have paid their dues honing their delivery on a series of UK tours and shows with the likes of The Computers, Pulled Apart By Horses and Dinosaur Pile-Up. 2013’s trek around Europe with Korn and Dimmu Borgir is also well documented and showed how brilliantly their live show can transfer to the bigger stages. They’ve also been very active on the festival circuit, clocking up performances at Download, Sonisphere, Lovebox, Great Escape, SXSW, Boardmasters & Hevy amongst others. 2014 so far has seen the band play Download, Camden Rocks, and an April UK Headline run including an intimate, sold out show at London’s Barfly. Over the Summer Turbowolf have also played with Black Sabbath in London’s Hyde Park and headed over to mainland Europe with their explosive live performance.
Turbowolf are currently recording their second full-length album with producer Tom Dalgety at Bristol’s Rockfield Studios. The band released a hint of what is to come with the free download ‘Solid Gold’ earlier this year. The track was met with critical acclaim leaving much anticipation for the record. This is a band to watch over the next 12 months.
Turbowolf perform a full UK headline tour this December as part of the Download Freezes Over Tour.
