Bio
Hotly tipped
Manchester three piece Turrentine Jones released their debut album, ‘Our Days’,
which appeared worldwide in late 2014 in conjunction with the band signing a
deal with renowned London based label Rough Trade.
Produced by Chris
Hamilton and recorded at Toast studios, Salford, ‘Our Days’ heralds an
unmistakable push forward in the band’s songwriting. Lead track, ‘Moonlight Is
on Yer Side’ showcases Turrentine Jones at their most powerful: a scorching
single that blends blues, southern rock, and pop into sinister but beguiling
melodies that’s quickly become a fan favourite at the band’s incendiary live
shows.
2015 has already seen
Turrentine Jones touted by the likes of Andrew Oldham (Former Manager of the
Rolling Stones), XFM (Hattie Pearson) and Hype Machine (Ones To Watch) as one
of the hottest prospects of the year ahead.
