Eddy Berthy is my nickname.My real name is Essombi Dissake Berthe,borned in Cameroun at Douala city since 14 February 1978.My parent had six children and l m the fourth.l start to sing when l was in college,it's was difficult because my father needed me to be a doctor or a lawyer but l choose to do music because is my passion.l was discorvered by one artist in my country called Sam Touré who decided to join me in his band called Ngosso.l worked with them and that same year l start to sing in Cabaret.A year later ,chef of national band ask me to join his band and l do it .In this band, l've meet and sang with lots
artist of country and stranger as Manu Dibango,Coco Mbassi,Aicha Koné,Ndedi Eyango,Nkotti François ,Slai,Grace Decca and other.In 2006 after participated in real Tv broadcast Star2demain where l was until semi final,l decided to study music and guitar with one institutor called Stanley.Every year l study with master classes.In 2008 l decided to have my personal band to synchronize and repeat my music,today l have my band who composed with six musician,Battery Percussions,Accoustic Guitar,Bass guitar,Keyboard and singercalled Mouaye Zik.Sometime,l play only with percussion and my guitar.It's depend to where we are going.My music is a mixture of many style and African Rythm such as Blues Folk,Reggae,Makossa and other that l call my Jazz.l sing it with Duala language
