Starting out in a small East Village apartment, TV/TV has gone on to make it's way through some of New York's premier venues. Selling out shows at The Knitting Factory NYC, Bowery Ballroom and Mercury Lounge to opening up for some of rock and indie music staples is only where it begins for the band who has found a second home on the road. "Opening up for The Bravery, for one example, has really put in to perspective for us what it means to be a seasoned mainstream rock band that can tastefully combine elements of Indie and Pop" says the ever elusive bassist, Francois. The band finds it's primary influences in Indie and Rock but has certainly never shyed away from pop music. "We are very proud of the brand of pop music that we craft" says singer Josh Ocean. This blend of rock and pop has led the band to record with producer extraordinaires Zach Odom and Kenneth Mount, best known for their work with power-pop bands Cartel and Mayday Parade. This past Fall, TV/TV wrapped up a 2-month national trek, touring with such bands as Artist Vs. Poet, The Scenic, Anarbor and Brighten.
Currently, the band is back in the studio with Odom and Mount for the rest of December recording the follow-up to Something To Get Excited About.
