Although young at 23, I've been writing and recording music since I was 12. Since then, I've composed nearly 400 original songs, and am currently working to create a performance with them, as a Dj. In March of 2012, I had my debut performance rapping as an opener for Too $hort, in Corvallis.
I can also make live beats by looping the electric guitar and MPC drums or beatboxing, and rap on top of that. I don't have songs written using the live looping technique, it's always a freestyle, and I like it that way. Most all of my rap subjects touch on what I believe as love, and I write for the betterment of myself and others alike.
The imaginative thought process behind my raps is this:
If I were walking down the road, rapping my songs, passing random people as I go, each person would be able to hear a sentence or two of what I'm saying. If this were the case, It would be very important to make each sentence of the rap meaningful enough for the passerby to take something away from the encounter. I hope to give people food for thought!
