Twang Bang is a veritable 2-person orchestra of percussion, guitar and singing. Itzi Rothowski and Redd Klaats combine ferocious musicality with sharp-witted songs and crazy pots-and-pans showmanship for wild, fun and entertaining live performances everywhere from the most intimate settings to large outdoor festivals.
Culling influences from an entire century of popular music to create a sound that is always familiar yet unapologetically unclassifiable, Twang Bang combines early Jazz and Blues, Rock-a-billy, Surf, Opera, Punk, R&B, and Folk Music with outrageous original songs and smart lyrics.
This Chicago-based duo has proven to be incredibly versatile and able to accommodate every imaginable performance situation - acoustic or electric.
