Bio
Drivng to Kansas in '72 I bought a harmonica to entertain myself and torture the hitchhikers. Somewhere along the way I picked up a lower grade fever for music. The quiet passion was released again when I picked-up an old silvertone acoustic. It reminded me of the Silvertone electric I had since a 6th grader but never played much.
A couple of Texans, one of which is still my best friend, enjoy the music we will see again at Merlefest o7) moved up from Texas to Murfreesboro TN. We spent quite a few nights with other fellows playing the latest to rock a'billy and a bunch of Bluegrass(Smithville76).
Those are the ties that bind. That experience has been an engine for songs, staying in touch and a creed to move through life with. We were humpin' to please, will sleep when we get old and play by the light of the moon. My songs come from those places.
