Bio

Voted 3rd Best Local act in 2009 by The Roanoke Times Music Poll, Alternative rock act Twelve O’Clock Knob mixes a blend of melodic rock and story telling to produce their unique, but ever-changing sound. The band came together in late 2008, when singer/songwriter Santiago Prada called upon childhood friend and fellow musician Danny “Bish” Bishop for help on a song.Their name comes from a mountain from their native Southwest Virginia that according to a local lore, slaves would notice the sun directly over, right at noon. After moving to Richmond, VA and completing the line up with drummer Mikel Cruz, Twelve O’Clock Knob has kept busy, from recording in Nashville, TN to playing various venues and festivals around Virginia.
