Bio

Less than a week after twentyfour64’s first full-length album “Know Me” released on iTunes, they were confirmed for South By Southwest Festival in Austin, GMA Music Week in Nashville, and Cornerstone Festival in Illinois.

Apparently they did something right.

Their fusion of R&B vocals with driving rock has propelled the band twentyfour64 onto Southern California’s music scene. With roots in Honolulu, Hawaii, the five musicians trekked to Los Angeles in the summer of 2007 without knowing anyone to continue the growth and development of their musical careers.

“Instead of taking the easy route of big, poppy hooks, their songs burn slowly and unfold gradually” –Albert Ching (OC Weekly)

“They come up with their own style of rock infused R & B, while synchronizing driving guitars and melodic piano work that I haven’t heard in a long time.” -Indie Vision Music

The band recorded a majority of the album in a weeklong lock down at Joel Piper Studios in Fresno, CA. As they would describe the record: “The album is an accumulation of the past few years we’ve spent together. It’s as diverse as our music is expected to be, but is definitely held together well by our fidelity to hope. We believe that you can get to know us by this record, and hopefully when we come through your town it will be as if we have already met.”

Their music would not be what it is without their multi-element style. Vocalist Junior T’s riffs and runs set this rock band apart. The genuineness of the lyrics is well paired with Kenton Fukuda's deep rhythm guitar and Samuel Kanekoa's melodic piano pieces that further the band stylistically. In many bands, bassists take a backseat, but twentyfour64's bassist, Junior Macadangdang (Junior Boy), can hardly be overlooked as key arranger to the overall musical direction and production. After winning Azusa Pacific University's Battle of the Bands, drummer Roy Nuesca was picked up by Battlefield Drums (Relient K, Between the Trees) to represent their brand of custom drum kits.

After opening for acts Tyrone Wells and Tree63, twentyfour64 could not be more excited to get on the road and meet their dedicated fan-base across the U.S. Expect to see big things from a band who is bringing back a positive, unique, passion-filled style of music to the scene.
