Bio
Formed in the early months of 2007, TWICE A WEEK quickly
became a respectable group by earning its first accolades in the summer of 2007 by winning a Gorilla Productions Battle of the Bands. Rewards included recording their first three song demo “Against Time” at Cleveland based Lava Room Recording Studio and shooting their first music video for the single “What Went Wrong.”
During the next two years TWICE A WEEK played various venues in the Greater Cleveland area as well as eastern and western Ohio. During the winter months of those two years, TWICE A WEEK layed the groundwork for what would become their first full-length recording “Burdens of Life”.
TWICE A WEEK is made up of Sam Damore (Vocals/Guitar), Dion Sliman (Drums) and
Andy Taucher (Bass/Vocals). Their influences range from bands such as Smile Empty Soul, Trust Company and Deftones to early Nirvana and Green Day. These hard rock/punk influences that formed TWICE A WEEK’s sound gave them opportunities to open for such notable bands as Taproot, Smile Empty Soul, Trust Company and Story of the Year.
TWICE A WEEK is currently recording their second full-length album titled “Imagination” set to release the summer of 2011.
