All of Twilight's members have years of experience in both live and studio performance giving this young band a professional maturity beyond their years.
Starting out as a high school rock trio, the band recorded a small E.P. and began playing all around DFW area. After a couple years and extensive development of their song writing and performance, the addition of their fourth member solidified their sound and allowed them to evolve into what they are today.
After spending months writing, recording, producing, mixing/mastering and printing their live E.P. entitled "Deja Vu", in 2006 the band finally had something to show for all their hard work. They had the priviledge of mixing the recording with Grammy Award winning audio engineer Tim Kimsey. The title track of this E.P. boldly showed what this band's purpose was. The song "Deja Vu" was written by lead singer Ty Richards to capture the frustration and redundance of the majority of popular music today. The lyrics tell that "History is falling backwards now" and front Twilight's eager desire to break through the "Deja vu" with something completely new.
Twilight's music is the product of influences like Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay, The Daylights and Jeff Buckley. The band's guitar driven sound fuses both melodic ambience and honest raw edge. They take pride in their precisely dialed guitar tones and well-defined bass and drum rhythms. This combined with the spiritual conviction behind the lyrical message, Twilight manifests a sound that is intended to reach not only the ears but the hearts of the listener.
Calaborating their common musical and spiritual interests, this young, newly fitted band has already begun to make a name for themselves playing venues all over the Dallas Metroplex including the Curtain Club, Club Clearview, Liquid Lounge and The Door.
