Twilite's sound attracts with just about right amount of melancholy, unique sensitivity and elusive smooth aura. On the other hand, they often surprise with sudden explosions of noisy, dissonant sounds (as far as acoustic guitars let them).

Biography

Twilite is a Polish band formed in 2006.
At the very beginning band members were composing cooperatively few months through the internet, one of them in Biskupiec, the other in Cracow. After that online cooperation they decided to move to Dublin, Ireland so they could make their music side by side.
There, they started regular acoustic sessions. Recorded in their home, compositions were successfully published in Poland and after two years they were invited to record their first album "Bits&Pieces" and year after they came back to Poland.

Best description of their music would be Singer/Songwriter, but there's two of them, sometimes three, sometimes four. The core of the band is always the same: two acoustic guitars, two vocals, beautiful songs and haunting melodies.
Twilite shared the stage with artists such as Jose Gonzalez, The Twilight Singers and The Whitest Boy Alive. Their latest, critically acclaimed longplay 'Quiet Giant' is widely considered as one of the main challengers for the title of Polish Album of the Year. Twilite was invited to perform at the biggest European festivals: Open'er Festival in Gdynia and OFF Festival in Katowice and they just came back from USA, where they played their first official showcases at SXSW 2012.
