Twist Off Irony

Gifted guitarist and musician, DJ Carothers, formed Twist Off Irony in 2009 pulling together like-minded musicians who wanted to put ROCK back in rock music. Twist Off Irony is a band whose members equally bring a range of influences to the table, creating a unique hard-driving sound like no other. Gary Branscum’s vocal styling and sound is often compared to that of legend Jim Morrison. With Jeff's mix of driving rock bass lines and the cool flow of reggae and jazz and AJ's classical jazz and rock drumming and what he learned from a wise percussion teacher that while proper technique is very important, a creative voice is
most precious, Twist Off Irony’s music has something for everyone: driving rock guitar, edged with punk, just a dash of pop, lyrics that go right to “the heart of everyone’s life”, and topped with a rhythm that makes audiences go wild.

Twist Off Irony brings down the house delivering powerful sets, and has also been fortunate to share the stage with other great acts such as RunnerRunner, Level 42, The Clarks, Cake, Anberlin, Of Human, Echoes The Fall, and BASH.
