The Story of Twitchcraft
Through plaguing misfortune and souls depraved of feeling, come the ominous sounds of the world’s most infamous band in the underground circuit-Twitchcraft.
Originating out of Canada’s Niagara region, which has a rich history of the paranormal, Twitchcraft has channeled this influence and have created a spellbinding sound. Twitchcraft’s songs exhibit a patchwork of emotional torment that in essence, haunts the listener and leaves them craving more. Band members Rob Slain, Chris Beach, Alex P and the Genius, are four musically possessed souls that have transformed their burdens into a symphony of disillusionment.
With musical innovators like David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Rage against the Machine and ICP as their driving influences, Twitchcraft has taken past musical elements and have established their own, unique style of music. Rob Slain throws out the riveting guitar and delivers the heavy hooks, while Alex P’s vintage key rig emotes the electronic overlay. The band’s finger throwing drumbeats are courtesy of the infamous –Genius and the spell is completed with Chris’s raw and thought provoking lyrics.
With much thanks to the World Wide Web, Twitchcraft’s fans now span across the globe. Self-labeled as “Twitch heads”, these fans connect with the band’s music on the same emotional level as its members. Twitchcraft’s fans are much appreciated and are always considered to be the driving force of the band’s existence.
The band is ready to cast their spell on the music scene and are currently booking numerous showcases with various record labels, as well as putting the finishing touches on their full-length ep- tentatively set to release in December, 2006. Twitchcraft’s street sampler is on the loose and quickly gaining the listening loyalty of its fans.
