Bio

Two Bad Apples is Danielle Edge and Rob Kaup. On any night, no one knows what will happen, not even them. They used to say they were an acoustic duo, but that doesn't do their show justice. Really these two are a very compact band. They do every genre, every decade, anything you can throw at them, as long as they've heard it, they can do some kind of version of it. From classic country, to rock, to top 40 dance music, they really will do anything. Danielle plays acoustic guitar and fronts the show with a Sheryl Crow type sass and a powerhouse vocal. Rob is an extremely talented guitarist, keeping up with the likes of Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Vince Gill or Brent Mason just to name a few greats. He has been playing professionally in various bands for the past 20+ years. He plays acoustic guitar with multiple effects that allow his guitar to sound like a variety of instruments including mandolin, electric guitar, or bass. Mostly playing a bass line, he keeps time and fills out the sound with the kick drum at his foot. The harmonies are great, but you'd expect no less than this kind of natural chemistry from a married couple. Oh, and did we mention, they do not use tracks. Everything you hear is live. They encourage the audience to shout out  their requests and keep 'em comin' all night long. This interactive element in the show ensures no two shows are ever the same and it is always exciting to see what will happen next! These two are fearless, taking their show on the road from rural Alberta to the Carribbean. What's next for Two Bad Apples?? We're not quite sure. All we do know is the future is bright and there's always more songs to add to the list.
